John D. Schell, Ph.D.
Vice President & Chief Science Officer
Dr. Schell serves as Vice President & Chief Science Officer for TEA. Dr. Schell has more than 20 years of environmental assessment experience, focusing on human health and ecological impacts of PCBs, dioxins, volatile organic, chlorinated pesticides, and metals. Prior to joining the TEA team, Dr. Schell served as a Principal Scientist at Exponent, based out of Houston, Texas. Dr. Schell is a former member of the faculty at the University of Florida and has held adjunct teaching positions at the University of South Florida and the University of Florida. He has experience performing human health and ecological risk assessments under state and federal programs such as Superfund, RCRA, and state Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) programs.
