Health and Safety
At TEA, the safety of our employees and contractors is our key core value. To put it simply, “Each and every employee and contractor should return home each night just like he/she came to work that morning".
To make this statement a reality, senior management is committed to promote a culture of safety throughout the company. This goes beyond written safety and health plans; OSHA compliance and client mandated safety rules. We create a personal connection with each of our employees and contractors. These people are not instruments of our productivity, they are family, and we will do everything within our power to ensure their safety, not only on the jobsite, but 24/7. Positive safety behaviors should not just occur at the worksite, but be a way of life. At TEA, our mission is to provide our family with all of the tools needed to live and work safely.
Dennis Huggard, Executive Director of Environmental, Health and Safety, leads the TEA Health and Safety program. Dennis has nearly 40 years of field, managerial and multi-national corporate experience in the health and safety field.

It is the policy of TEA to use many effective methods of accident prevention in all phases of operation and administration. It is the intention of TEA management to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all TEA employees and subcontractors. TEA also works to establish and insist upon the use of all company and site safety practices and procedures at all times by all employees. The prevention of accidents is an objective affecting all levels of our company and its operations. It is, therefore, a basic requirement that each supervisor make the safety of all employees an integral part of his or her regular management function. It is equally the duty of each employee to accept and follow established safety regulations and procedures.
