Senior Remediation Engineer
TEA, Inc. (TEA), a twenty-four year old environmental consulting company headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, serving national and international clients with offices in Florida, Michigan, and Texas, is seeking a Senior Remediation Engineer (SRE).
As an environmental consulting company, we specialize in remediating chlorinated solvents in groundwater and soil. In particular, we have developed expertise in designing and implementing bio-remediation systems, engineered phytoremediation systems, and other in-situ remediation programs. We manufacture our own in-situ remediation products, and we are expanding our remediation services into other areas as well.
We expect the SRE to be a key participant within our remediation group providing leadership and project management oversight on various projects. This is a highly visible position where you can make an immediate impact within the remediation team. And, you will be able to expand your professional work horizons by working with new technologies and cutting-edge project design work.

Desired Skills and Experience
This SRE must have a B.S. degree (advanced degree preferred), and a minimum of ten (10) years of environmental remediation consulting experience (preferably demonstrated experience in remediating chlorinated solvents); human health and ecological risk assessments; site investigations; agency negotiations; planning for risk-based remediation projects; and design and implementation of these remediation systems. A professional engineer license (P.E.) is desired.
As an SRE candidate, you must demonstrate proven project management experience, including managing large project budgets, technical/task management experience, managing technical staff, report writing, as well as demonstrated client management capabilities.
